This intensive four-day summer school equips social science researchers with the conceptual and practical tools to make their research more transparent, reproducible, and credible. The course moves from the replication crisis to preregistration, replication packages, reproducible workflows, multiverse analysis, open data, and open peer review, combining lectures with hands-on exercises.

This course studies political communication through the interactions between media, political actors, and citizens. It covers agenda-setting, framing, political marketing, media effects, selective exposure, misinformation, polarization, populism, incivility, online dissent, censorship, and the representation of colonial legacies in the news.
